How Hilma works
Hilma’s approach is thorough, individualised and unhurried. She takes time to understand your symptoms, history and goals, explains the evidence in plain language, and builds a plan with you rather than for you.
She works closely with your usual GP, and with specialists and allied health professionals when they are part of your care.
Why “Essentia”?
essentia — essence
Essentia is a Latin word meaning essence: the core nature, or most important quality, of something. It is said to have been coined by the Roman philosopher Cicero to describe the building blocks of life. At Essentia Medical, it reflects our focus on what matters most for your health.
